These Formula Shell oils are for customers that own vehicles with 75,000 miles or more. Shell Formula High Mileage formula Motor Oils are available in two viscosities, 10W-30 and 10W-40. Check the data sheet and note that these motor oils are formulated specially for high mileage vehicles: their viscosities (cSt) at 40C and 100C are higher than most standard oils; their flash points are relatively high; and, their API certification is SL. These motor oils are “hardier” than most other mineral oils. If you vehicle is burning a little oil , leaking some, or exhibiting increasing engine noise, these oils will help improve these problems.
